Description
 CISTI Source "is a fully integrated current awareness and document delivery service offering up-to-date information in science, technology, medicine and other related fields." It includes the Tables of Contents of over 17,000 journal titles. CISTI, the Canada Institute for Scientific and Technical Information, is part of the National Research Council of Canada. CISTI is a major provider of InterLibrary Loan and document delivery to the University of Saskatchewan Library. CISTI Source is comprised of three interrelated parts:
  1. Databases:
    • CISTI Source Articles
    • CISTI Source Journals
    • CISTI Source Catalogue
  2. Document Delivery Service
    • This service is integrated with the Library's InterLibrary Loan (ILL) service. Authorized patrons may order documents/articles in CISTI Source in the CISTI Source Articles database at no charge. Articles will be delivered to the InterLibrary Loan Office (for undergraduates) or individual Departments (for faculty and graduate students). The turnaround time is expected to be very fast.
  3. Alert Services:
    • Article Alert (not available; requires subscription)
    • Journal Contents Alert (not available; requires subscription)
Subjects Multidisciplinary, but over 65% are in science, technology, and medicine.

License Terms & Conditions There are no restrictions to the number of simultaneous users.

Access to CISTI Source and CISTI Document Delivery Service is restricted to the current faculty, staff, and students at the University of Saskatchewan for educational, research, and non-commercial personal use.
