This is a story about a British family who took a homestead near Wolseley, Saskatchewan in 1883. As well, the author discusses the pioneers' interest in religion and the establishment of the primitive Methodist Colony north of Wolseley. Reference is also made to the Northwest Rebellion of 1885.
