Sorokin Lectures

By Anonymous - Posted on 10 April 2008

The Sorokin Lecture Series began in 1968 and has continued on an annual basis ever since. The Univesity of Saskatchewan published a number of these talks and the following are available online:

VI. D. 4. Sorokin, E. "My Life with Pitirim Sorokin". March 12, 1974.

VI. D. 5. Wallerstein, I. "Old Problems and New Syntheses: The Relation of Revolutionary Ideas and Practices." 1975.

VI. D. 7. Zimmerman, C.C. "Sorokin, The World's Greatest Sociologist: His Life and Ideas on Social Time and Change." 1968.

Please note: In an attempt to improve long-term access to our digitized collections, we are currently migrating collections to a new system. As a result, access to several collections will be delayed as we complete the move. Please let us know if you need to view items from any of the digital projects currently affected and we will provide special access as capacity allows. Thank you for your understanding.
