Abstract:
During the week of 9-13 October, an interagency working group reviewed data used to measure trend in the war in Vietnam. The group concluded that the data most frequently used for both internal and public purposes were not adequate for the task and recommended that a special interagency task force be established to systematically develop new ways to measure progress.
