Abstract:
Living and working conditions in Hanoi are miserable. There is no decent food, no available women, no motion pictures, and nothing to do at night. Work is interrupted by as many as twelve air raid alerts in a 24-hour period. Only visitors are shown around. The North Vietnamese facts and figures are often false, and there is little chance of finding out the truth.
