The Situation in South Vietnam [political situation: Khanh has resigned as president due to pressures from student and Buddhist demonstrators; Military Revolutionary Council will select a new chief executive and then dissolve itself; Buddhists state that Khanh is acceptable if he divorces himself from military and civilian remnants of Diem's Can Lao Party.
