Plans of Minister of Revolutionary
Development General Thang for His Future Role
with the Revolutionary Development Program
[the Minister of Revolutionary Development
reports that after he leaves his ministerial
post he may seek appointment as Dep. Chief of
Staff for Regional and Popular Forces; he
feels that Revolutionary Development workers
should be strongly supported by Regional
Forces and Popular Forces and that the
training he envisages will eliminate the
friction between them; he wants to retain
control of the national training center and
the Ministry of Revolutionary Development's
Directorate of Operations and have the new
minister responsible only for budget and
