Continued activity of Prime Minister Ky's political mechanism [the political action mechanism
organized by Ky before he withdrew his
candidacy continues its activity; during one
of the group's meetings it was stated that it
will continue although Ky is now second man
on the Thieu-Ky ticket, that this was not a
loss of power for Ky, that a central, supreme
committee of five or six generals would be
the real power and would be commanded by Ky,
and that the group considers itself the
central committee of a nationwide
organization of cadres that will be the basis
