Progress of Thieu Camp in Gaining Support, and Views of Thieu's Campaign Manager on Other Presidential Candidates [Nguyen Van Huong has had some success in obtaining the support of Catholics, Buddhists, Vietnam Nationalist Party members, Cao Dai, and Hoa Hao for the Thieu-Ky ticket; Huong commented that some of the other candidates were not "serious" in that they had no chance of winning and only hoped to reach a bargaining position; he also said that Thieu would welcome an agreement for collaboration with Tran Van Huong, but he is too stubborn to drop out of the race].
