Letter, dated 5 June 1965, from W.F. Raborn, Director of Central Intelligence, to McGeorge Bundy, Special Assistant to the President for National Security Affairs, describing contents of 3 documents attached to the letter: 1) SNIE 10-6-65 discussing probable Communist reactions to use of B-52s in attacking SAM sites and jet aircraft at airfields in Hanoi-Haiphong area; 2) SNIE 10-6/1-65 discussing Communist and non-Communist reactions to use B-52s for strikes within South Vietnam; and, 3) SNIE 10-7-65 discussing probable Communist reactions should US decide not to attack SAM sites and jet aircraft on airfields mentioned.
