Abstract:
A major objective of the Viet Cong (VC) military and political efforts at the present time is the organization and surfacing, at a politically propitious opportunity, of a broadly based new front named "People's Democratic Peace Front" (PDPF). The PDPF, which will be surfaced when a provisional coalition government is formed, will try to organize a strongly pro-Communist permanent coalition government in South Vietnam. The VC hope that the United States government will support the PDPF because it wants to withdraw its forces from South Vietnam.
