Abstract:
There were two explosions; one was in the street in front of the floating restaurant; the other in the river bank. The floating restaurant is sunk. It is reported that seven Caucasians dressed in western clothing, presumed to be Americans, were killed by the blast while dining. A bomb disposal team is on the way. The provost marshall has another team on the scene. Casualties are now estimated in excess of thirty. There are eleven known US fatalities reported by the duty officer at Saigon Naval Hospital.
