Abstract:
Viet Cong (VC) activity in Long An Province was low during September 1967, and preparations are underway for the new "winter-spring campaign". Allied military operations are causing people to leave VC-controlled areas, which in turn restricts VC economic capabilities. VC population control and motivation capabilities are declining in the face of continuing losses of experienced cadres.
