Memoirs — Liz SenecalThe Only Lesbian Couple in TownLiz Senecal is originally from Rosetown, Saskatchewan where she grew up in a farming family. Upon graduation from high school, Liz went on to the University of Saskatchewan to study Women & Gender Studies. During this time she discovered her passion for human rights, Queer rights, poverty, education and community responsibility. Liz enjoyed her post secondary education, volunteered frequently with the Pride Centre and the Women’s Centre on campus and eventually came to terms with her identity as a Queer woman.
