JUSTICE REFORM COMMISSION HEARING PRESENTATIONS IN
REGINA
SASKATOON – The Commission on First Nations and
Métis Peoples and Justice Reform has scheduled a number of presentations for
this week.
On Wednesday, February 12 the Commission will be
in Regina to hear a presentation from the Women of the Dawn. This event will
take place at the Indian & Métis Friendship Centre between 10:45 a.m. and 12:15
p.m.
Later that day, the Justice Reform Commission
will hear from the Saskatchewan First Nations Women’s Council. The presentation
will be received between 1:00 p.m. and 2:30 p.m. at the Indian & Métis
Friendship Centre.
The Indian & Métis Friendship Centre is located
at 3100 Dewdney Avenue in Regina.
On Thursday, February 13, the Commission will
hear a presentation from the Métis Women’s Council. This will take place at the
Indian & Métis Friendship Centre, 168 Wall Street in Saskatoon.
The presentation will begin at 10:45 a.m. and conclude at 12:15 p.m.
Later that day, the Commission will hear a
presentation from the Métis Youth Council. This event begins at 1:00 p.m. and
will run until 2:30 p.m., also at the
Friendship Centre in Saskatoon.
All presentations are open to the public and
media.
