Welcome to the library

Located on Treaty 6 territory and the homeland of the Métis, the University Library's goal is to advance learning, research, and collaborations across our diverse community through the unique combination of academic support services, inclusive spaces, and relevant and distinctive collections.

Accessing our collections

The University Library maintains a large collection of print resources (books, journals, maps, etc.) and an even larger collection of online digital resources (ebooks and e-journals). The print material is housed in six library locations across campus, with material from each location equally accessible to every student. The online digital resources are available at your fingertips through the library website. Always remember to log in to the library website with your NSID and password to gain full access to all the resources that the library has to offer.

Academic help

The University Library is dedicated to ensuring that students can succeed academically. We offer many online supports, including free one-to-one meetings with math or writing tutors, virtual academic skills workshops, and study skills handouts that help you develop the strategies you need for online learning.
